Some of the best times of my life were out in the desert with Gary, Mark and my Dad (Bill)

We meet at a DRA Race and it was all good from that day forward.

Gary we will miss you, Hopefully you and my Dad are sitting around the camp fire shouting the breeze.

I was lucky enough to meet your Father and know him, Thank You for sharing him.

I grew up riding and racing off road motorcycles in the 70’s and some of my best memories were seeing Gary and Mark, father and son, be such great buddies.  Gary was a great family guy, but he was also just one of the guys.  We’d sit around the camp fires at night “bench racing”  - telling tall tales about the days ride and how fast we were, or some big crash we had that we walked, or limped away from, and Gary always had some great stories about the day.  Even though Gary was a “Dad” and we were all in our teens, he blended right in with us – he was always ready with a word of encouragement if we did not do as well as we thought we should in our race, or if we were having problems of some sort, he was always one of the guys that would drop everything and pitch in to help solve the problem.  I remember that he had a great laugh, the kind that made you laugh just listening to him laugh, and he laughed a lot.  Although I have not seen Gary in many years, I can see his smiling face as I write this, and it makes me smile just thinking about him.  He was that kind of guy.

Gary, you will be sorely missed by your family and close friends, but also those that you touched so very long ago, and left a lasting impression on them, like you did on me.

For Jesus taught that someday “all those in the memorial tombs” will be resurrected. John 5:28
Isaiah 25:8:  He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken [it].
Revelation 21: 3, 4: " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
